Everything I wore last week | 15
Getting back into spring dressing after my holiday, featuring some favourite layers and a date night look I’ll definitely be repeating!
So good to be back sharing all the outfits I actually wore last week! I felt so inspired after my little mini-series on transitional dressing (catch up on it here). Here’s a roundup of all the looks that got me through the week—don’t miss my new reel to see them in action!
MONDAY
OUTFIT FORMULA = JEANS ➕ TEE ➕ SHACKET ➕ QUILTED JACKET ➕SNEAKERS
jeans / tee / shacket / quilted jacket, similar / sneakers, similar
Outfit Details…It was a gloomy, rainy Monday, so my little one and I spent the morning at a local play centre—comfy outfit required! I’ve really been leaning into my relaxed-fit jeans lately (scored these Arket ones on Depop, such a gem!). I paired them with a tee, threw on my Sezane Will shacket, and topped it off with a quilted jacket for some extra warmth.
TUESDAY
OUTFIT FORMULA = LINEN PANTS ➕SHIRT ➕ DENIM JACKET ➕FLATS
linen pants / shirt, similar / denim jacket / woven flats / bag / sunnies
Outfit Details…I had an office day on Tuesday, and I always like to dress up a bit more than my usual WFH vibe. I grabbed these wide-leg linen pants I bought for Bali (they’ve been on repeat since I got back!) and paired them with my striped shirt, oversized black denim jacket, and flats for a more polished look.
WEDNESDAY
OUTFIT FORMULA = BARREL JEANS ➕ TEE ➕ BLAZER ➕ QUILTED JACKET ➕ MULES
barrel jeans / tee / blazer, similar / quilted jacket, similar / mules / bag, similar
Outfit Details…It wouldn’t be a week of outfits without my barrel jeans—seriously, I’ve gotten so many comments on these! Wednesday was all about layering up again, and true to Melbourne weather, I ended up shedding them throughout the day until I left the office in just my tee!
THURSDAY
OUTFIT FORMULA = TRACK PANTS ➕ SWEATER ➕ DENIM JACKET ➕ SNEAKERS
track pants / sweater / denim jacket / sneakers / sunnies
Outfit Details…Do you ever have those days when getting ready just doesn’t spark joy? They don’t happen to me often, but Wednesday was one of them. To keep things stress-free, I went super simple—monochrome tracksuit set, black denim jacket (to make it feel a bit more put together), and my runners, and I was out the door! The perfect coffee run/WFH combo!
FRIDAY
OUTFIT FORMULA = JEANS ➕ CAMI ➕ BLAZER ➕ SANDALS
jeans / cami / blazer, similar / sandals / bag /necklace
Outfit Details…I started the day in my satin pants and oversized striped sweater for a cozy chai at a local café and to catch up on work, but I was way too excited about dinner in the city to stop for a photo! If you caught my Insta stories over the weekend, you’ll know I was in a bit of a wardrobe dilemma for a dinner out with friends. So, I had a quick try-on session with some everyday staples and elevated them to feel more date-night appropriate. I finally settled on this look: ecru wide-leg trousers, a cami, and a blazer—and I felt amazing in it!
SATURDAY
OUTFIT FORMULA = JEANS ➕ SHIRT ➕ SWEATER ➕ SNEAKERS
jeans / shirt / sweater / sneakers / bracelet / sunnies
Outfit details…It was the most beautiful spring day in Melbourne, so we took full advantage with a family walk to grab ice cream and ended up spending hours at the local park. It was so refreshing to slow down and not have anywhere to be! I’ve been eager to try out this outfit formula and was just waiting for a warmer day. I went for wide-leg jeans, an untucked shirt (yes, untucked—who even am I?!), with a sweater casually draped over my shoulders in case it turned chilly, and of course, my Sambas. I swapped the laces for cream, and I’m loving this colorway for summer!
SUNDAY
OUTFIT FORMULA = CROPPED PANTS ➕ SWEATER ➕ SNEAKERS
cropped pants / sweater / sneakers / necklace / sunnies
Outfit details…My eldest son’s cricket season kicked off again on Sunday, which meant an early start—cue the need for something comfy! But I also wanted to feel a bit more put together, so I decided to pull out a pair of preloved pants I’d first worn in Bali. This time, I paired them with a simple black crew neck sweater and my trusty Converse. It turned out to be such a great alternative to the usual athleisure I might’ve reached for. What do you think?!
Another week wrapped up! Thanks for following along. If you know someone who could use a little outfit inspiration, feel free to share this post with them. Until next time!
