Inspired by jessyloulou's fabulous insta post where she shared her Vinted finds, I thought it would be fun to round up some of my recent Depop gems I’ve picked up for spring / summer (see my reel here)
I LOVE secondhand online shopping and Depop is my go-to site, but if you're a little hesitant, hopefully seeing how these pieces look when I’ve styled them can be helpful— they often look even better in person than in the photos!
STRIPED SHIRT - Assembly Label.
Paid $24 + postage
I’ve been on the lookout for a brown striped tee or shirt for a while now—combining my love for stripes and neutral tones, it’s a match made in heaven! When I came across this Assembly Label poplin short-sleeve, I instantly fell in love. It’s such a versatile piece—perfect on its own, layered over a tank or tee, or even worn under a sweater!
STRIPED COTTON PANTS - CottonOn.
Paid $18 + postage (retails $39.99)
I've been patiently saving all the pajama-style pants inspo for when spring and warmer weather finally arrived. While I don't follow trends too closely, I'm always game for one that aligns with my personal style. These pants are a fantastic alternative to jeans and perfect for the warmer months. This pair is 100% cotton from CottonOn, and I scored them brand new, tags still attached!
LEOPARD PRINT TIE TOP - ASOS.
Paid $28 + postage (retails $59)
I honestly can’t wait for it to be warm enough to rock just a tee or short-sleeved blouse! I'm especially excited to wear this leopard print tie top. I’m a firm believer that leopard print is the perfect neutral, seamlessly fitting into my wardrobe. The cute ties add a fun touch, and I’ve already experimented with multiple ways to style it (check out the reel). I know it’s going to be a staple this spring and summer! Plus, I found it in excellent condition with no signs of wear.
LINEN MAXI SKIRT - Dissh.
Paid $25 + postage
I snagged the Dissh vest last summer and had my heart set on the matching pants to create a versatile co-ord set. Unfortunately, my size was sold out, so I let it go when autumn rolled around. But as I started prepping my spring/summer wardrobe for an upcoming holiday, I stumbled upon the matching maxi skirt—and absolutely loved this alternative! I was a bit hesitant before it arrived, but the moment I tried it on, I knew it was a winner. This piece will be perfect for styling with tees and tanks all season long!
CROPPED NILSA LINEN TOP - Assembly Label
Paid $28 + postage (retails $80)
I've been gathering inspiration for crop tops as a stylish alternative to tanks and tees, and the Nilsa top from Assembly Label has been a favourite of mine for a while. It’s a staple in their collection and it’s available in various colours. Whenever I have my eye on something in-store, I always check Depop first—and I scored this one in my size, in excellent condition—such a win! I recently added the matching black linen pants, and I can’t wait to wear them together as a set
SANDALS - Teva
Paid $50 + postage (retails $110)
I have to admit, I wasn’t a huge fan of Tevas a few years ago—I found them a bit bulky and not really my style. But as my personal style has evolved, so have my feelings about Tevas! I’ve been on the hunt for super comfortable and practical sandals, especially for an upcoming holiday with lots of walking. Enter the Teva sandal... After hearing rave reviews from friends, I decided to give them a try and scored my size for less than half the retail price! The moment I tried them on, I was blown away by how comfortable they are!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you found this helpful and feel inspired to give secondhand shopping a try. If you know someone who could use a little guidance in the world of preloved fashion, feel free to share this with them!
