This past weekend, a group of my beautiful girlfriends and I went on a trip to the Mornington Peninsula, about 1.5 hours from Melbourne, to celebrate a dear friend's 40th birthday. It was a wonderful two-day getaway!
I always prefer sticking to a colour palette, making it easier to mix and match outfits if I decide to change things up. For this trip, I chose a classic combination of black, white/cream, tan, and grey.
Here’s a breakdown of everything I wore…
SATURDAY: travel outfit, brunch, sip & paint class & chill dinner in our airbnb

jeans, similar / shirt / sweater / coat, similar colour / sneakers / bag / sunnies / scarf
I knew I needed an outfit that was going to take me through the whole day, it needed to be comfy, yet elevated and something that was wearable for lots of different activities from a paint & sip class (which was so much fun!) to afternoon drinks and a causal dinner in the evening.
SUNDAY (morning): walk along the beach & cafe stop off

sweat pants / sweater / coat / sneakers, similar / scarf
It was a beautifully cold, sunny winter morning, so I headed to the beach to soak up the fresh coastal air—absolute bliss! I'm so glad I packed some warm layers because they were definitely needed. I was especially grateful for the hot tub when I returned to warm up!
SUNDAY (afternoon): winery lunch and travel outfit

sweater / skirt, similar / boots / coat, similar colour / bag / necklace / sunnies
We had a lunch reservation at one of my favorite wineries, so my girlfriends and I dressed up a bit and enjoyed the most wonderful food, wine, and of course company. It was the perfect way to end a fabulous weekend!
Hope you enjoyed this little outfit roundup!
