Recapping February Outfits with Indyx
What I Wore in February: Favourite Looks, Most-Worn Pieces & My Latest Wardrobe Additions
I really enjoyed putting together last month’s What I Wore in January using the Indyx app (and I think you did too!), so I’ve decided to make it a regular roundup. If you’re not familiar with Indyx, check out this previous Substack where I explain how it works.
In last month’s recap, I mentioned how happy and comfortable I felt in my summer dressing—something that hasn’t always come easily to me. Without layers, I used to find outfit planning a bit tricky, but this season felt more effortless. February was much the same! For the final month of summer (I’m so not ready to say goodbye just yet!), my wardrobe was a mix of office, WFH, and casual looks, plus a whole week of easy summer outfits from Byron.

Favourite Outfits
I’m still loving using the Indyx app to track my outfits and I’ve also found it helpful this month to spark some inspiration when I’m feeling at a loss of what to wear.
Here are a few looks I loved this month:

A few things I’ve noticed when I look back on my February outfits…
1. Denim is My Foundation
From barrel jeans to cut-offs and jackets, denim was everywhere—versatile, effortless, and the core of my wardrobe.
2. A Signature Palette Works
Neutrals (black, white, beige, denim) kept everything cohesive, with green and brown adding subtle interest.
3. Details Elevate the Everyday
Simple outfits felt fresh with small tweaks—woven bags, gold jewellery, and well-chosen accessories made all the difference.
New Items I added to my Wardrobe in February
I’m keeping track of everything I’ve added to my wardrobe this year—both bought and gifted—to stay mindful and avoid unnecessary purchases. Last month, I started looking ahead to autumn, picking up a few pieces on sale or from Depop that I knew I’d regret missing out on.

• Adidas SL 72 Sneakers – I’d been eyeing these for autumn, so when they went on sale, I didn’t hesitate. I’ve already worn them loads, and they’re set to become a true staple in my wardrobe.
• Stella Nova Copenhagen Coat – After falling in love with the effortlessly chic (and fun) looks from CHFW, I started searching for Copenhagen-based brands. When this beauty popped up on Depop, it was an instant yes—I’m obsessed!
• Montaigne Paris Linens (Gifted) – I was generously gifted three pieces from this stunning brand. The Ava linen cami is a timeless staple, and both linen dresses (this one and this one) were perfect for my Byron trip.
• Republic of Florence Crossbody Bag (Gifted) – This tan leather bag has quickly become my most-worn accessory—it even made my top worn items for February!
• Seed Heritage Crop Tank – A refresh for my well-loved black tank. The cropped fit is perfect for pairing with my high-waisted pants and skirts, making it an easy everyday essential.
Style Goals for March
My style goal for March is all about leaning into transitional pieces and creating layered looks that feel effortless yet intentional. As the seasons shift, I want to experiment with lightweight layers—think open shirts over tanks, knitwear draped over shoulders, and relaxed blazers paired with denim. The focus is on versatility, finding ways to make my favourite pieces work across changing temperatures while keeping my outfits cohesive and true to my style.
That’s a wrap for this month’s Indyx recap! I hope you’ve enjoyed reading and that it’s sparked a bit of inspiration as we dive into March!

Obsessed with that quilted coat! I have never heard of that brand and will have to do some research!
